Dana & Tucker

Here are two more adult cats who are available for adoption from the Humane Society of Noble County. They are both current on vaccinations and both are already microchipped.

Dana is a short-haired black, tan, and white female tabby with beautiful, expressive green eyes! She is approximately 5-7 years old and has been at the shelter since right before Christmas. She is a little shy, but she also craves attention and petting.

Tucker is a short-haired black and tan tabby with a white chest, tummy, and paws, and white on his face. He is already neutered and is declawed on all four paws. Tucker is around 4 years old and has been at the shelter since September. He is a big boy - not fat, but tall and long. He is curious and very friendly.

Shadow, Racer, & Cuddles

With the year winding down, there are still many cats at the Humane Shelter of Noble County who are awaiting their forever homes. Today we have Shadow, Racer, and Cuddles, who are all up-to-date on their vaccinations.

Shadow is a short-haired black female with big green eyes. She is around a year old and has been at the shelter for less than a month. She is very friendly and loves attention! In the second picture she was so comfortable that she was half asleep!

Racer is a short-haired black and gray male tabby who is about 6 months old. He came to the shelter earlier in December with a severely injured tail, which was recently removed. At the same time, he was neutered and tested negative for FIV. He is playful and very loving!

Cuddles is a short-haired female who is gray and tan with a white chest, white feet, and white belly. She is 6-7 months old and has only been at the shelter for about a week. She is still very shy, but you can tell that she will be very loving and cuddly when she feels more secure.

Bourbon & Bond-girl

Bourbon and Bond-girl are at the Humane Society of Noble County, waiting for their forever homes. 

Bourbon is a handsome neutered male who is 5-6 years old. He is black with a few white neck hairs. He is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been at the shelter for a little over a week. He is still a little shy, but is big and cuddly and loves attention. Come visit him and his cage-mate Whiskey (featured earlier).  smile emoticon

Bond-girl is so-named because her number is 1007. She is a big black and tan tabby who is around 5-7 years old. She is up-to-date on vaccinations and has been at the shelter for about 2 weeks. In the second picture she looks mad, and that's because some of the other cats were curious about her, and she really doesn't like other cats. She should be in a one-cat home. Otherwise, she is very friendly. In the other picture you can see how much she likes human attention!


All of the cats at the shelter can be adopted for the low price of $20 from 5-8 p.m. on December 22. This is $15 less than the regular price. Come on out and visit all of the cats and kittens!

Flo & Jake

Flo and Jake are available for adoption from the Humane Society of Noble County. They are siblings who are 11 weeks old. They are up-to-date on all vaccinations and are FIV-negative. 

Flo is the tan and black female tabby and Jake is the gray and black male tabby. They are both curious and playful, and love human attention! As you can see from the pictures, they love to be cuddled!

Flo and Jake have been in foster care for several weeks, so they are used to a home and they get along well with other animals.



Today, December 22 from 5-8 p.m., Flo, Jake, and all other cats at the shelter can be adopted for the discount price of only $20. Come visit them all and pick out one or two to take home with you!

Venus & Kittens

Here are the beautiful Venus and her cute kittens. They are available for adoption from the Humane Society of Noble County and are all up-to-date on vaccinations. On December 22 from 5-8 p.m. all cats at the shelter can be adopted for the discounted price of $20, a $15 savings!

Venus is a short-haired calico who is 1-2 years old. She has been at the shelter for about a month, taking care of her 7 kittens. Venus is extremely friendly and loves attention!

Four of her kittens, Pluto, Neptune, Jupiter, and Mars, look almost identical! They are all short-haired black kittens with a few lighter, barely visible stripes. This picture represents all four. Two are male and two are female.

Mercury is a black female with 4 white feet, a white chest and belly, and white on her face. Milky Way is a black female with 4 white feet and white on her chest and belly, but an all-black face. 


These kittens are 7-8 weeks old. One of the seven is not pictured here because she has already been adopted. All of them are silly and playful! Please come visit them and consider giving one or more of them a forever home!

Josette & Kittens

Meet Josette and her 3 kittens. They are available for adoption from the Humane Society of Noble County and are all up-to-date on vaccinations. They have been at the shelter since December 11.

Josette is a pretty short-haired black mama cat who is 1-2 years old. She is very friendly and loves to be held and petted. I had trouble taking her picture because she just kept rubbing up against my legs!

Jamie is a short-haired male who is all black. He likes to run and play with his siblings, and likes human attention. He and the other 2 kittens are about 7-8 weeks old.

Junco is a black male with some white on his face, neck, and paws. He likes to play and explore, and he was very curious about the cats in the other cages. He loves attention too!

Little Jody is the female of the group. She is a torti who also loves to run and play. She got pretty crazy playing with the toy in the picture - look at her eyes! She likes to be cuddled too!

Dahlia, Angel, and Sophie

Dahlia, Angel, and Sophie are three more cats who are available for adoption from the Humane Society of Noble County. They are up-to-date on all their vaccinations.

Dahlia is a short-haired black kitty with a little white at her neck. She is 1-2 years old and has been at the shelter since the first of December. She is curious and likes to explore, and she is a real lover!

Angel is the pretty short-haired orange and white female who is approximately a year old. She has been at the shelter since early September. Angel is very curious and active!

Sophie is a short-haired black female kitten, who is only about 7-8 months old. She has been at the shelter since August. She is curious and very friendly!

Twinkle & Vixen

Here are Twinkle and Vixen, two more cats who are available for adoption from the Humane Society of Noble County. They are both up-to-date on vaccinations, and on December 22 from 5-8 p.m. these two and all other cats at the shelter can be adopted for only $20 each, rather than the normal $35.

Twinkle is a beautiful short-haired torti female who is 1-2 years old. She has been at the shelter since the end of November. Twinkle LOVES attention and loves to be petted and cuddled. She would definitely be a lap cat!

Vixen is a one-year-old female who is a calico/tabby mix, which you can see in the pictures. She has been at the shelter since early December. She is still a little shy, but is very friendly when she figures out that you are okay!

Chester & Spunky

This post features big, cuddly Chester and little Spunky. They are both up-to-date on vaccinations and are available for adoption from the Humane Society of Noble County. On December 22 from 5-8 p.m. all cats can be adopted for only $20 each. That's just over half-price!

Chester is a short-haired male orange tabby with white on his chin and belly. He is approximately 3-4 years old and has been at the shelter since the beginning of December. As you can see from the pictures, he is a huge lover. He likes to explore, but nothing makes him happier than a good cuddle!

Spunky is a short-haired male who is white with gray and black tabby stripes here and there. He is 10-12 weeks old and came to the shelter near the end of November. As his name implies, he is curious and playful. He is very friendly with humans and other cats.

Harold, Noelle, and Hallie

Today's final group of cats includes Harold, Noelle, and Hallie, who are available for adoption from the Humane Society of Noble County. All are current on vaccinations.

Harold is a neutered male black and tan tabby. He is 1+ years old and has been at the shelter for a little over a week. He loves to be loved and has a very loud purr! He has beautiful big green eyes and crinkly whiskers!

Noelle is a short-haired torti female who is about 6 months old. She has been at the shelter for almost 2 weeks, and is still a little shy. She gets along well with other cats, and likes to be held and petted - I think it makes her feel more secure!

Hallie is a long-haired black and brown female with tabby markings on her legs and a huge mane! She is about 5 months old and has been at the shelter for a couple of weeks. This little furball is friendly and cuddly!

Prancer, Lucky, and Dasher

On the left is Prancer, a short-haired gray male kitten who has a few darker stripes in his tail. He is about 6-7 months old and has been at the shelter for less than 2 weeks. He is a little shy right now, but once you get him on your lap, he cuddles and purrs very loudly!

In the middle is Lucky, a short-haired black cat who is a little over a year old. He has been at the shelter for a little over a week. Lucky is curious and friendly.

On the right is Dasher, a short-haired black, tan, and silver male tabby. He is 6-7 months old and has been at the shelter for less than two weeks. Like Prancer, he is a little shy because of his new surroundings, but he is a real cuddle bug!

Cutie Pie is a female short-haired torti who is about 5 months old. She has only been at the shelter for a little over a week. She is friendly and gets along well with other cats. Look at her beautiful coloring and markings!

Camden is a long-haired black and tan male tabby. He is around 3 months old and has been at the shelter for only a few days. He is such a furball that he looks bigger than he really is. He is loving and cuddly and also gets along well with other cats.

Three Kittens

Here are three kittens who are awaiting forever homes. They are available at the Humane Society of Noble County. All three are up-to-date on vaccinations.

First is Muffin, a medium-haired calico female who is approximately 3-4 months old. She has been at the shelter since the first of October. Muffin is very friendly and playful around other cats and humans. 

Next is shy little Ivy, an all black female with the slightest hint of white eyebrows. She is 9-10 weeks old and has only been at the shelter for a little over a week, so she is still getting used to humans and the other cats. She just needs someone to spend time loving her!

The last baby is Carlos, a white cat with a lot of brown and black tabby markings, including the M on his forehead. He is 9-10 weeks old and has been at the shelter for about a month and a half. He is playful and very friendly!

Chang & Holly

Today we have Chang and Holly, who are available for adoption from the Humane Society of Noble County. They are both up-to-date on vaccinations and would love to have you visit them.

Chang is a male chocolate-point Siamese with beautiful blue eyes who is 3-4 years old. He has only been at the shelter for a little over a week. He seems to crave human attention and loves to be petted, but like most Siamese cats, he can be a little moody!

Holly is a short-haired female who is approximately 8-10 months old. She is mostly black with a little white under her neck. She has been at the shelter for about 2 weeks. She is curious and friendly.

Two Golden Boys

Today's featured cats are these two golden boys, Garfield and Reggie, who are available for adoption from the Humane Society of Noble County. They are both up-to-date on all vaccinations.

Garfield is a short-haired buff tabby who is approximately 1 year old. He is FIV-negative and is microchipped. At some point he has been well taken care of, because he is very friendly and curious. He has only been at the shelter for about 3 weeks, and would love to have a forever home!

Reggie is a long-haired orange tabby with a huge, fluffy mane! He is 1-2 years old and is already neutered. He has also been well taken care of and loved. He is SUPER affectionate - quite the handsome lover! He has been at the shelter for about 2 weeks, and would love for you to give him a forever home where he would get lots of attention!

Two Long-haired Beauties

These two long-haired beauties are available for adoption from the Humane Society of Noble County. They are both up-to-date on vaccinations and worming. 

Kahlua is gray and tan with a little white at her neck. She is approximately 4-5 years old, is front-declawed, and has been at the shelter for less than two weeks. She craves human attention, but she is still a little skittish around all the other cats.

Sherry is black with a few white patches. She is around 3 years old and has also been at the shelter for less than two weeks. She also loves human attention, and she is very talkative!  smile emoticon

Denny

I usually feature 2 or 3 cats at once, but today this boy gets a whole page to himself for several reasons. 1) He is very handsome and photogenic. 2) He was very calm and cooperative. 3) Right now I don't have any other pictures of adult cats to put him with!

This is Denny, a medium-haired buff tabby. He is approximately 1-2 years old and has only been at the Humane Society of Noble County for a little over a week. He is up-to-date on shots, flea prevention, and worming.

Denny is an EXTREMELY sweet boy. He is curious and likes to explore, but he is very calm and laid back. He loves attention and might be a great lap cat because he seems pretty cuddly.

Three Kitten Siblings

These babies were all born at the Humane Society of Noble County on 9-02-15, making them just shy of 3 months old. They are all up-to-date on shots, worming, and flea prevention.

The first guy is Brendan. He is a long-haired white and orange male. He is probably blind in one eye, but that doesn't slow him down for a minute. He is very active and playful, and he loves attention!

Next is Penelope, a black, tan, and white female with tabby markings. She is curious and playful, as well as very friendly with people and other cats.

The last one is Belle, a female who is white and orange with a few black patches. In the first picture, you can see one of the little black patches on her back. She is also playful and loving.

Misty is a gorgeous dilute calico, 2-3 years old, who has been at the shelter for about a week. She is a little shy as she gets used to her new surroundings, but she is friendly and likes human attention.

Sadie is a medium-haired black cat with white paws and chest. She is front declawed. She is approximately 4 years old and has been at the shelter for about 2 weeks. Sadie is also a little shy, but she is very cuddly.

Mallory is a long-haired gray, tan, and orange cat who is 2-4 years old. She has been at the shelter since August. She gave birth to a litter of kittens after she was brought in, and is now ready for her forever home. Mallory is playful and loves attention!

Here are three cats in various degrees of black and white. They are available for adoption from the Humane Society of Noble County. All three have had shots and flea prevention and have been wormed.

Zoey is mostly white with some black spots. She is 3-4 years old and has been at the shelter for a little over a week. She is a real sweetheart with people and gets along well with other cats.

CoCo is all black with a few white hairs if you look real closely. She is 2-3 years old and has been at the shelter since mid-August. CoCo is a little shy, but she is very loving and wants a lot of human attention.

Skylar is mostly black, with white feet, chest, throat, and belly. She is only 7-9 months old and has been at the shelter for about a week. She gets along well with other cats, is very curious, and loves attention.

Three Gorgeous Females

Today's cats are 3 very different females. All three are available for adoption from the Humane Society of Noble County. They are all up-to-date on shots, flea prevention, and worming.

The first cat is Shakira, who has black and tan tabby markings with a lot of white. She is 1-2 years old and has been at the shelter for 2-3 weeks. She wants attention, but is still adjusting to the shelter and is a little shy around people and other cats. She just needs someone who would give her a loving home!

Next is Glory, a long-haired gray beauty with a few white chest hairs. She is probably 3-4 years old and came to the shelter about 4 weeks ago. These pictures make her look a little haughty, but she loves attention!

The last cat is Inkie, a dilute calico with 4 white paws. She is 2-3 years old and has been at the shelter since the end of October. She is very loving and cuddly and would love to be your lap cat!

Three Male Tabbies

These three young tabby cats are available for adoption from the Humane Society of Noble County. They are all up-to-date on shots, flea prevention, and worming and are all new residents at the shelter.

First is Tiki, a black and tan male tabby with a definite bulls-eye pattern on his sides. He is 4-6 months old, and has been at the shelter for a little over two weeks. Tiki is curious, but also very affectionate and loves to be held and cuddled.

Samoa and Cheetah look a lot alike. Samoa is a brown and tan male who is 4-6 months old. He has been at the shelter for about 3 weeks. He is curious, likes to explore, and loves attention.

Cheetah is a black and tan male who is 7-8 months old, so he is slightly bigger than Samoa. Otherwise, their markings and coloring are so similar, it is hard to tell them apart. Cheetah has been at the shelter for 2-3 weeks. He is curious and loves to be petted and cuddled.


All three of these cats would love for you to visit them at the shelter. They are waiting for loving, forever homes, as are many other cats and dogs who would make great pets!

Orange Look-alikes

No - this is not four pictures of the same cat. Two are Colton and two are Pumpkin. They are both available for adoption from the Humane Society of Noble County. Both have been wormed and are up-to-date on shots and flea prevention.

Colton is a male buff-colored tabby who is 6-7 months old. He is an explorer and loves to play. He is also friendly and likes attention. He has been at the shelter since spring.

Pumpkin is an orange male tabby with some white markings. If you look closely, you will see that he has white around his mouth and eyes which Colton does not have. Pumpkin is 4-5 months old. He has been at the shelter since mid-October. He is also very playful and loving. You can see that he and Colton like the same toy!

Three Black and White Cats

These three black and white cats are available for adoption from the Humane Society of Noble County. They are all up-to-date on shots, worming, and flea prevention.

Chelsea and Tessie look quite a bit alike, but you can tell the difference by their noses. Chelsea's nose is black and Tessie's is white. Chelsea is a female who is 1-2 years old. She has been at the shelter for a little over 3 weeks. She is shy, but is also curious and friendly.

Tessie is a female who is front declawed. She is approximately 3-4 years old and has been at the shelter for around 2 months. She is also curious and friendly, but a little shy. On one side, she has a black spot that looks like a heart!

Whiskey is a neutered male who is black with white spots. He is 8-9 years old and has been at the shelter for 2-3 weeks. He likes to explore and likes attention. Because he's an older boy, he's pretty calm.

Three Tabby Cats

Here are three tabby cats who are available for adoption from the Humane Society of Noble County. If you don't look closely, they all look quite a bit alike, but they do have distinguishing characteristics. All three are up-to-date on shots, flea prevention, and worming.
Martika is a black and tan female tabby who is 1-2 years old. One of her distinguishing markings is the bulls-eye pattern on her sides.She is very curious and loves attention. She has only been at the shelter for a couple of weeks, and is looking forward to finding a new home.
Binx is a brown and tan male tabby, also approximately 1-2 years old. He likes to explore and is very friendly. He has only been at the shelter for about a week. He gets along well with all the other cats.
Sarita is a tan and black female tabby with white paws and some white on her neck and chest. She is 2-3 years old and has been at the shelter for 3 months. She is FIV-negative, and would love to find her forever home. She is friendly and loving.

Three New Cats

Here are three more cats who are available for adoption from the Humane Society of Noble County. They are all relatively new to the shelter, and they are all up-to-date on shots, worming, and flea prevention.
The first cat is Meeka, a black, silver, and tan tabby. She is approximately 3-4 years old, is front declawed, and is thought to have been spayed. She has only been at the shelter for a few days and is a little scared, but you can tell that when she gets used to her surroundings, she is going to be a friendly, loving cat.
The next cat is Monarch, a buff and white long-haired male who is 4-5 months old. He has been at the shelter for a couple of weeks. Monarch is very curious and playful, but also very affectionate. He loves to be held and cuddled!
The third cat is Manolo, a black, tan, and cream male tabby with medium-length hair. He is 3-4 years old and has been at the shelter for only a few days. He is very friendly and loves attention!

Four Adult Cats

Bandit is a medium-haired white cat with black markings. He is approximately 4 years old and has been at the shelter for only a few days. He is very friendly to people and other cats - see him kissing a cat in another cattery!
Gino is a gray male with white on his face, chest, and paws. He is 2-3 years old and has been at the shelter for about a month. He is curious and friendly.
Ta-Keo is a cream and brown chocolate point Siamese with big blue eyes, who has been neutered. He is about 10 years old and came to the shelter about 4 weeks ago. His voice will let you know what kind of mood he is in!  :)
Huck is a black and tan male tabby who is 2-3 years old.He has been at the shelter for a couple of weeks. He loves and craves attention, and needs someone who will fatten him up a little.

Three Calico Cats

This calico beauty is Gidget. She is approximately 1-3 years old and has been at the shelter since February, 2015.

This is Marina, a calico with tabby markings. She is 1-2 years old and has been at the shelter for 2 or 3 weeks.


This picture shows the white on her neck and chest. Marina is curious and friendly. She loves attention and has a very loud motor! Could you give her a forever home?



This is Tootsie, who is 3-4 years old. She is black and orange with a white neck and chest and white on her paws. She has been at the shelter since March, 2015.


Tootsie has some tabby markings, including the M on her forehead.


Tootsie is a very cuddly girl, and she would love for you to give her a home where she could cuddle with someone every day!



Please visit all of the cats and dogs at the Humane Society of Noble County!  For the rest of October, all cats and kittens can be adopted for only $15, which is less than half of the regular adoption fee.  These animals just want a safe home and a lot of love, and they will love you unconditionally in return!

Six Wonderful Dogs

Today I will feature a few of the many wonderful dogs that are available for adoption at the Humane Society of Noble County.

This is Ashton. His fur was so dirty and matted that he had to be shaved. This shows what he looked like before the haircut and what he looks like now as he waits for his hair to grow back.


Ashton is a senior dog. He is up-to-date on shots, worming, flea prevention, and bordetella vaccine. He is also neutered.


Ashton is a very friendly and lovable guy. Just look at those eyes! He has been at the shelter for a couple of weeks. Could you give him a new home?



This is Barkley, a Mountain Feist dog who is approximately 5 years old. As you can see from this picture, Barkley is full of energy and needs a place where he can run or be taken for a walk every day.


Barkley has had his shots, worming, and bordetella vaccine and is heart worm-negative.


Here Barkley is playing with a rubber pig that oinked. Barkley loved it and went crazy tossing it in the air and chasing it!


Here he is chasing it again. Barkley has been at the shelter for about a month, and would love to go home with you!



This sweet little girl is Cookie, a chihuahua mix. She is approximately 3-4 years old.


Cookie is very friendly and loves to run and play.


Cookie has had her shots, flea prevention, bordetella vaccine, and she has been wormed.


You can get a good idea of her size from this picture. Cookie has been at the shelter for only about a week and is waiting to go to a loving home! There is an application pending on Cookie, but if it falls through, she could be yours!


This is Flynn, a Yorkie mix who is 2-3 years old.


Flynn has had his shots, worming, and bordetella vaccine. He is a very loving guy and this picture gives you an idea of his size.


Flynn has been at the shelter for a little over a week. There is an application pending on Flynn, but if it doesn't work out, he would love to go home with you!



This little cutie is Gabe, a black Schnoodle. He is approximately 3 years old and has been at the shelter for a couple of weeks.


Gabe is up-to-date on shots, worming, flea prevention, and bordetella vaccine. He is also microchipped. Come visit this little lover and see if you could give him his forever home.



This is Tango a Blue Heeler, also known as an Australian Cattle Dog. He is approximately 4-5 years old.

Tango is up-to-date on shots, flea prevention, bordetella vaccine, and worming.


Tango is curious and friendly, but right now he is very shy. He has been at the shelter for about 3 weeks. He will make a wonderful pet once he feels comfortable and secure in his surroundings. Come visit this gorgeous guy!


Please come to the Humane Society of Noble County to see these dogs and all of the other fantastic cats and dogs who are available for adoption.  Dogs can be adopted for only $50, and during the month of October, cats can be adopted for only $15 rather than the regular $35.
